A RELIABLE TIGHTNESS TEST AT SEA

The TAMI® -Thermal Assessment of Membrane Integrity- is a secondary barrier tightness test based on the study of the thermal phenomena inside the insulation. By using the best of the infrared thermal imaging associated with analyze of specialized engineers, Cryovision is able, with TAMI test, to propose a powerful test which increases the safety of the containment system without time loosing. 



Since 2011, CRYOVISION® has developed and improved the TAMI®. According to the major LNG actors, it is a reliable and accurate test carried out over more than one hundred LNGC tanks.

The Secondary Barrier Tightness Test is a pressure test which controls the tightness of the secondary membrane of Mark III type insulation. This test consists in vacuuming the secondary space and monitors the vacuum decay rate according to the standards. CRYOVISION® is equipped with up to date devices for performing this test.

A TIME EFFECTIVE SECONDARY BARRIER TIGHTNESS TEST AT SEA

Based on the use of intrinsically safe equipment, CRYOVISION ® propose to perform the SBTT at sea during a ballast voyage. This test at sea gives a regular monitoring of the secondary barrier.

a TIME SAVING TOOL FOR MAINTENANCE

The Tank Inspection By Integrated Arm called TIBIA is a unique tool especially developed to perform inspection and small maintenance job on primary membrane of NO96 and MARK III tanks. 

TIBIA reduces the access time for every membrane area outside workers range. In only 8 hours, 5 TIBIA operators proceed to the installation inside tank while at sea. Once installation is done, one worker and one operator can onboard inside the basket to reach the primary membrane in only few seconds. TIBIA is also equipped with berthing equipment allowing immobilizing the basket relatively to the membrane and perform meticulously job in spite of sea condition.

SLOSHIELD

REAL TIME MONITORING SYSTEM FOR LIQUID MOTION INSIDE TANKS

Liquid motion inside LNGC tanks called sloshing is known to be a chaotic phenomenon which can be a cause of boil off rate increasing and strong impacts inside LNG tanks. By measuring the Sloshing activity in real time, CRYOVISION® with Sloshield TM propose “an eye inside tanks”. 

CRYOVISION® provides a solution which has been installed on board several vessels. SLOSHIELD TM is a non intrusive system able to monitor in real time the sloshing activity inside each tank by counting the number of impact. The information is directly displayed to the bridge using an interface developed in the cooperation of CRYOVISION® and GTT. Over the simple displaying of the sloshing activity, CRYOVISION® propose with the SLOSHIELD TM solution to provide dedicated feedback on the sloshing activity throughout the service life of each vessel.
